Dr Prerana Santosh Bandekar is working in Shalya Tantra department of Dr. JJ Magdum ayurved college and hospital, Jaysingpur, Maharashtra.
She has completed Master of Surgery in Ayurveda from Sri Kalabyraveshwara Swamy Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital and Research Center, RGUHS, Bangalore, Karnataka and Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery(B.A.M.S) from RJVS Bhaisaheb sawant ayurved mahavidyalaya, Sawantwadi, MUHS, Maaharashtra.
She has authored several research case study Articles in National and International peer review journal publications. She has participated in national as well as international seminars.
Currently she is preparing for PHD in Shalya Tantra. Her goal is to practice and widen Shalya Tantra benefits and real time practice, She is working on the same from long time.
