Dr. Deepak Ghuliani, a Gold medallist in M.B.B.S completed his Masters in Surgery (M.S) from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College, & associated Dr RML Hospital, New Delhi. He obtained Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery(FMAS) from World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons at Laparoscopy Hospital, New Delhi in December 2007 after completing his senior residency. In August 2008, he joined prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College as Assistant Professor in Department of Surgery. Since then he has been continuing to work there and presently is working as Professor and Unit head in Department Surgery at the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.
Working as a Professor of Surgery, has experience in all types of open and laparoscopic , elective and emergency surgeries including trauma and oncology with a special interest in Endocrine Surgery. Besides clinical work, He has a keen interest in academics and research also. He has been actively conducting teaching of both undergraduates and postgraduates in Surgery and has supervised completion of several thesis in Surgery. He has also been actively involved in organization and conduct of the yearly CME and other academic programs. He has several research papers published in his name in various National and International Journals. He has been a eminent speaker and chairperson at several surgical conferences and has been the Quiz Master for the prestigious and sought after Annual MAMC Surgical Quiz of post graduates since 2017.
In 2018 he was awarded with Fellowship of American College of Surgeons (FACS) at the Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons held in Boston, USA.
