Dr Kanwar Singh Goel MS (Surgery) FICS (USA), FAIS, is Professor, Department of Surgery, SGT Medical College, Budhera, Gurugram, Haryana. He has served as Short Service Commissioned Medical Officer in INDIAN AIR FORCE.
He has published large no. of papers in Indian and International Journals, attended several national and international conferences. He has presented several papers and delivered faculty lectures and chaired scientific sessions in national and international conferences. He is reviewer of a national and an international journal. He has written chapters in books, “Contemporary Surgery” edited by Dr Santhosh John Abraham and Dr Arvind Kumar; book, “Guidelines for Surgical Emergencies” recommended by the association of surgeons of India. He is member of Maharaja Agrasen Medical Education & Scientific Research Society Agroha, Haryana; International College of Surgeons, Indian section; Asia-Pacific Hernia Society of India; The Association Breast Surgeons of India; The Association of Surgeon of India; The Association of Society for Wound Care & Research (SWCR), India; Association of minimal access Surgeon of India; Indian Medical Association. He is Consultant Editor, Haryana Medical Journal. He has been UG and PG teacher as per MCI guidelines, has been external and internal examiner for UG students. Teaching is his passion and he is a popular teacher for undergraduate and post graduate students.
