Dr.Mohamad Safwan completed his MBBS from Indira Gandhi medical college and research institute (Govt. of Puducherry), and currently, he is doing his 3rd-year post-graduate residency in the department of general surgery at Kerala institute of medical sciences, Thiruvananthapuram. He is an enthusiastic student during his residency. He authored a book chapter on “A rare extensive calciphylaxis due to primary hyperparathyroidism” in an international book named ‘New Frontiers in Medicine and Medical Research’. He has published more than 10 papers in various international peer-reviewed journal and he also presented a paper at the annual conference of the association of surgeons of India during his residency. He holds membership in the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgeons of India.
