I’m Dr. Christy Vijay (MBBS, MS – OBG, DNB, ATCL, IAPC, Fellow-FM, Rural Obgyn). I have completed my UG & PG from St. John’s National Academy of Health Science, Bangalore. I’m inclined towards Rural Obstetrics to serve the underserved areas. St. John’s Institution promoted this during my 2 years of Rural Bond Service post-MBBS, where I had an opportunity to work in two maternity homes and post-PG I worked in a Tribal Village.
I’m keen on doing research in Obstetrics and I have close to 30 publications having only completed my PG.
I’m also interested in Speech & Drama and I’ve completed my diploma course at Trinity College London.
I’m also a recipient of awards, to summarize some of them are, “Best Outgoing Post-Graduate Student of the Year 2022”, “Best Postgraduate Researcher-2020”, “Rashtrapathi (President) Scout Award – 2009”, “First Place for Poster Presentation at St. John’s National Institute of Health and Sciences – Research Day – 2021”.
