International Best Researcher Award, Community Medicine
Dr. Nilofer Naaz is a doctor by profession. She has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health from the prestigious Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and she also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Maternal and Child Health from IGNOU. She holds valuable knowledge in her subject and has always been enthusiastic about research which led her to join the MD in Community Medicine at M.R Medical College, Gulbarga, Karnataka. She has been awarded the International Best Researcher Award from ISSN for a research article on Evaluation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) Utilization in a teaching hospital of Kalaburagi City, Karnataka during her post-graduation. She has published scientific papers in national and international journals. She is a life member of Epidemiology Foundation of INDIA. Dedicates this award to her late mother Syeda Nargis Ishrath.
