Born in the unassuming village of Kanksa, Panagarh Bazar, in 1988, my journey is a testament to the transformative power of education and unwavering perseverance in the face of adversity. Growing up in the midst of financial constraints, my father, a high school teacher, imparted not only knowledge but instilled the value of education as the key to a brighter future.

My educational odyssey began in the village, where I completed my secondary education with a keen interest in physics. Despite the limited resources, I managed to secure a place in the top ten ranks in the district, a feat that marked the first milestone in my academic journey. The pursuit of knowledge led me to the prestigious Burdwan CMS High School for higher secondary education, laying the groundwork for the pursuit of a more significant purpose.

In 2006, I embarked on the challenging yet fulfilling path of medicine, gaining admission into the MBBS program. The journey through medical school was not only marked by academic rigor but also a commitment to serving communities in need. Following internship, I delved into a year of surgical practice at Midnapore Medical College and Lady Dufferin Victoria Medical College, a period that deepened my understanding of the practical aspects of healthcare.

In 2015, a significant juncture in my career unfolded as I embraced a rural posting, taking on the role of a permanent Medical Officer. Serving in rural communities underscored the profound impact of healthcare accessibility, sparking a passion for community medicine. This passion found a formal channel in 2019 when I joined a Medical College as a Clinical Tutor in the Department of Community Medicine. It was during this period that my interest in research blossomed, opening new avenues for contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge.

The year 2022 finds me in the midst of a junior residency in MD Biochemistry, a testament to the continuous pursuit of excellence. The journey, though marked by financial challenges and humble beginnings, is a source of quiet pride. Each step, from the village classrooms to the corridors of medical institutions, reflects not only personal growth but also the resilience of spirit and the belief in the transformative power of education. The path may have been arduous, but it has shaped not only a medical professional but a beacon of hope for those who dare to dream beyond their circumstances.
