Dr. Sireesha Kalva

I am Dr. Sireesha Kalva, a seasoned pharmacologist with an extensive background in Pharmaceutical Sciences. I proudly hold a Ph.D. from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India, and currently serve as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Sri Venkateshwara College of Pharmacy, affiliated with Osmania University.

With an impressive tenure of 17 years in academia, I have honed my expertise in teaching Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology. My fervor for research is exemplified by my comprehensive work in both preclinical and clinical settings, particularly in the realms of Diabetes, Inflammation, and Autoimmune Disorders. My scholarly contributions include the publication of 25 articles in esteemed national and international journals, alongside presenting my research at prestigious international conferences, including an eminent one in Dubai.

My dedication to the field has been recognized with several accolades, notably the “Best Poster Award” at the RAPID National Seminar in 2017, sponsored by NSERB. I am actively engaged in professional organizations, serving as a lifetime member of the Indian Pharmacological Society. Additionally, I contribute to the scholarly community as a sub-editor for the “Journal of Natural and Ayurvedic Medicine.”

My journey has been defined by an unwavering commitment to excellence, driven by a profound dedication to both teaching and research. Through hard work and determination, I continually strive to advance the frontiers of pharmacological science and inspire the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals.
