Karthiya. V is a research scholar of Department of botany at Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Her research work focuses specifically on reduction of agricultural and agro-industrial wastes through waste management. She is the author of First report on toddy palm shell based vermicompost by Eisenia fetida was published in 2022 by springer. For this paper she has got the International best researcher award by ISSN awards (2024).
