Dr. C. M. Nalayini is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Information Technology at Velammal Engineering College. Her teaching experience is 19 years in total. She has completed her Ph.D degree in Information and Communication Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, India. Her current research interest includes Network Security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Blockchain Technologies. She has published many books such as Programming in C, Data Structures, and published notes in vidyarthiplus for the welfare of the students. She has published many book chapters in Springer Lecture series, Elsevier, IGI global etc. She has published many research articles in reputed International journals and Conferences. She acted as resource person for various events such as Seminar on Cloud, Workshops on Artificial
Intelligence, Machine Learning and Exploring Blockchain and Faculty Development Programs on Blockchain Technologies and Generative AI. She has also given Computer Training to various Government School Students for the welfare of the student community. She has completed courses such as CCNA, Network Security, Database Management Systems, Blockchain and its applications. She has conducted various events such as Seminars, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs, National Conference, Guest Lectures, Quiz Competitions and Project Competitions etc. She has won best
paper award for the Blockchain research paper. She has been the mentor for various student programs such as Paypal student training program and IETE student events. She is one of the recognized reviewer for many reputed journals and book chapters. She is one of the Faculty Ambassador for the Hyperledger India Chapter Student Society.
