Dr Manish Kela is Senior consultant Cardiac Anesthesiologist at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Navi Mumbai since 2018. He has done his MBBS from GMC, Nagpur followed by MD Anesthesiology from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai from 2004 to 2007. Post MD, he was the first fellow of cardiac Anesthesiology at the same institute. He then continued to serve as Lecturer in dept of Anesthesia from 2009 and was promoted to assistant professor.
In 2015, he decided to move out of KEM hospital and joined Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai as full time Cardiac Anesthesiologist. He then continued for 3 years & in 2018 joined the current institute.
He has done Cardiovascular Anesthesia Observers post from Memorial Hermann Hospital, Texas Medical Center, The University of Texas, Houston in 2012.
He has done JSA sponsored clinical training program in Anesthesia at Sapporo Medical University hospital, Sapporo,Japan in 2015.
He is updated with latest advancement in the field of Anesthesiology and has been faculty in numerous Cardiac Anesthesia conferences.
Dr Kela has multiple national & international Publications to his name and is actively involved in student teaching programs.
He is Assistant Editor in International Journal of Anaesthesiology Research.
He has written chapters in Many standard Textbooks of Anesthesia and is University certified teacher.
His Special interests are Complex Adult Cardiac anaesthesia, TransEsophageal Echo & heart transplants.
