I was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, where my interest in medicine began early. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, which I completed in 2022. I was committed to my studies and research throughout my academic journey.
During medical school, my fascination with microbiology and radiology grew, and I had the opportunity to publish several research papers in these fields. My mentor, Dr. Gitanjali Badave, played a significant role in my development, guiding me through the complexities of medical research and helping me develop a rigorous approach to my work.
After graduation, I started working as a junior doctor at different regional hospitals in India; with my parent’s support, I am currently doing a clinical observership at James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough, UK, to explore different fields of medicine. Working as a doctor has allowed me to engage with a diverse patient population and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, further enhancing my skills.
In addition to my professional work, I have various personal interests and hobbies that help me balance the demands of my career. These activities provide me with the necessary downtime to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
