I have completed my PhD from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science which is one of the premier research institute of India. My PhD work was on immunomodulatory activity of an anticancer drug. My PhD guide was Prof. Manju Ray, a Swantiswarup Bhatnagar awardee and a renowned name in the field of cancer biology. Currently I am attached with Diamond Harbour Women’s University as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Zoology from 2019.My university is the only women’s university in Eastern India which provides education to many underprivileged girl students who come to complete their masters and PhD. Currently I have 3 students working under my supervision to pursue their PhD. I have total 16 publications in various International and national journals which have good impact factors. I have also published 4 book chapters. My area of research is cancer biology, immunology, phytochemicals and molecular biology.
