Dr. Rakesh Chandra Verma, currently working as an Assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi [UP], India. He has a rich experience 10 years in the teaching and training of of MBBS, MD, MD- Ayurveda, B. Pharma, PhD, Physiotherapy and Optometry students. He has done MBBS and MD (Pharmacology) from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, UP, India. He has more than 40 publications including research and review articles and two books.
His fields of interest are metabolic syndrome, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and thyroid disorders.
He has been awarded with the title of ‘Best Teacher’ by EducationExpo TV, New Delhi and Avishkar foundation, Solapur, Maharashtra. He has also been awarded with the Certificate of recognition and appreciation by American Chemical Society. He has received awards of Excellence in reviewing- 2021, 22, 23, 24 from BP International [Hooghly- Edinburgh]. He has also Participated in the preparation of WUR [World University Rankings] 2024 & 2025 [published by TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION, London].
