He has 30 years of experience in the Cement Industry across Asia, Africa, Europe, and Oceania. He holds a master’s degree in Chemistry from Agra and MBA from Chicago booth, USA.
He joined UltraTech in July 2019 from CRH Singapore, where he worked as Director Technical Services and was responsible for Asia Pacific operations for four years. Before CRH, he worked around 19 years with Holcim and held various top management positions, including the member of the Board of Directors.
He has extensive experience in safety, technical, project management, manufacturing, energy management, alternative fuels and materials, performance management, capital, and operational expenditure, M&A, due diligence, product development, commercial and procurement services.
He represents various committees as chair and member in Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), NITI Aayog, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCBM), and Aditya Birla Group (ABG).
He is a golfer and won a few tournaments and enjoys networking.
