Haruhiro Shiraishi is currently a graduate student at the University of Tokyo. Since his undergraduate days, he has been conducting research on remote sensing and water pollution. He has presented his research in many international conferences and written many papers related to it. After graduation, he joined the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF), where he gained experience in disaster management as a member of the Japanese government. He is currently studying marine engineering and researching ship motions.
