I’m a 27 year old Doctor, currently on my way to become an ENT Surgeon, trying to follow in my mother’s footsteps. She has been my idol ever since I was a kid. A kind hearted person who’s passion is only superseded by her hard working nature. I have been fascinated by my field of research watching her work. I still remember the first time I sat down with her in one of her cochlear implant machine switch on event. The reaction a human has when a new sense is added into their lives is priceless. Not just for them but for the ones observing them as well. It seems extremely exciting and worthwhile to spend your life spreading that joy. I hope this study of ours will help me out on a path leading the same way
