Dr. Roopashree G

Dr. Roopashree G (MBBS; MD, DNB Pathology) completed bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery, graduated from government medical college, Mysore. Thereafter gained an additional DNB degree in pathology from National Board of Education. Currently working as senior resident and consultant pathologist in department of pathology at government medical college, Mysore, India. Special Interest in field of hemato-oncology and histopathology. Has contributed to the field of medical research by publishing various articles in various National and International Journals of high repute and standards. During the course of post graduation has done dissertation work entitled “Mucin Histochemistry in Normal and Adenocarcinoma of Colorectum- A Comparative Study”. Presented a rare case report on “Primary extraosseous plasmacytoma of lymphnode” at 46th KAPCON 2019 held at Belagavi. Has done a certification course in National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories held by National Centre for Quality Calibration. Also contributed as one of the authors for book named “Exploring the causes and treatment for Chronic Kidney Disease”. Received “International Best Researcher Award” for research work published in “Clinico- pathological correlation study in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis” at ISSN awards 2023. Interested in collecting new and ongoing information in medical field and keeping updated with current medical knowledge. Enthusiastic to involve in teaching the young and budding doctors to make their learning more lively and easier.
