Completed RNRM in 1986 at BOS, B. Sc nursing in 1995, M. Sc nursing in 1998 under Dr. MGR medical university, PhD in 2012 at Vinayaka Mission (DU). Written chapters in books of Tamil Nadu nursing council for the subject medical surgical nursing and sociology. Published more than 50 concept and research articles in International and National journals. Resource person in many national and international conferences and seminars. Visited Thailand for international conference as a keynote speaker on the topic geriatric concerns. Conducted more than 50 Continuous Nursing Education and training programs. Guided UG, PG and PhD Nursing students. Conducted individual research studies, published and won awards. Recognized as PhD guide and examiner in following universities Annamalai university Chidambaram, MAHER university, Chettinad university, SRM university, Chennai, JIPMER (DU), Sri Balaji university, Pondicherry University, and Vinayaka Mission university. Life member of 10 professional organization. Member in editorial board in journals and chief editor for the book Brunner (MSN). Recipient of excellence in eminent teaching-2012. Academic excellence award 2013. Excellence in teaching award 2017, Best nursing teacher award in 2022 and 2023, Education excellence award in 2022 and research excellence award in 2022. Member in UG and PG board of studies Doctoral committee member in Pondicherry university, and institutional ethical committee member. Possess high professional attitude and always considering welfare of students.
