Native of Kanjirappally Kottayam District, Kerala.Did the graduation in Veterinary Science from College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Thrissur in 1992.
Masters in Veterinary Pathology in 1996 from the same college. Currently he is working as Senior Veterinary Surgeon at the Government Veterinary Hospital Ettumanoor, Kottayam District Kerala. He was the district coordinator of Mission Rabies project, (a project intended for complete rabies vaccination of dogs including stray dogs) funded by UK based NGO Worldvide Veterinary Services (WVS) in 2013.
Has published more than 15 case reports in various journals including International Journals
His concept Flood Resistant Portable Livestock Shelter has won third prize in Yuva Mastermind competition by Malayala Manorama for which he was a co-mentor. He is the founder of NGO Friends of Animals Kottayam an Animal Welfare Organization approved by Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI).
After realizing his passion for Animal Welfare, he was invited by Battersea Academy for Dogs and Cats London in 2019 for the training on Dog Rescue and Rehoming.

His pilot project of converting Water Hyacinth in to cattle feed in a very cost effective manner was funded by Agriculture Technology Management Agency and got very good appreciation from different corners including Planning Board of Kerala
