Professor in Department of Periodontology, KM Shah Dental College and Hospital, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara, Gujarat. Completed her post-graduation from Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, Davangere, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and has also done her Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics and Intellectual Property Rights Law from National Law School, Bangalore University. She has taught Periodontology for more than two decades and has been actively involved in teaching Evidence Based Health Care since 2011. She is the Chairperson of the Institution Innovation and Startup Committee and the Research Coordinator of the Institute. She has an aptitude and inclination for research with interest in Periodontal medicine, Microbiology, Microsurgery, Dental Implants, Evidence based practice, Intellectual Property rights as well as Medical Law and Ethics. Contributed to textbook on Oral Health Education for parents and children in the Textbook of Pediatric Dentistry & Special Child and 3 other Chapters related to Implants in Periodontics and Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry.
