Mr. Nilay Dave works as a Scientist, at Unipath Specialty Laboratory Ltd, Ahmedabad. He is a passionate Molecular Biologist with over 14 years of clinical diagnostic research experience. He completed his M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Bangalore University and B.Sc. in Genetics from Sardar Patel University. Also having a postgraduate diploma in Bio-Informatics. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Biotechnology under the guidance of Dr Chetana Roat from Silver Oak University, Ahmedabad.
His extensive career has been inclined towards research in clinical Molecular Genetics, especially in diagnostic setups. He and his team have developed and validated several molecular assays in Onco-hematology, Genetics, Infectious Diseases, Viral genotyping, pharmacogenomics, etc., using advanced techniques like PCR, RT PCR, Sanger Sequencing, MLPA, and NGS. He is a committed and hard-working. He has attended many international and national conferences. He has been exposed to many audits like ISO and NABL accreditation. He has an aptitude for conducting scientific training programs internally and externally.
