Dr. Tamanna Narsinghani is working as Associate Professor at School of Pharmacy, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore (State Government Statutory University of Madhya Pradesh, Accredited by NAAC with Grade “A+”). She is Ph.D. in Pharmacy from School of Pharmacy, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. She completed B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. (Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from Department of Pharmacy, SGSITS, Indore. She is B.Pharm. Silver Medalist, M.Pharm. Gold Medalist and recipient of AICTE Junior Research Fellowship. She qualified GATE with 97.97 percentile and 69th All India Rank. Dr. Narsinghani has more than 21 years of teaching experience. Before joining School of Pharmacy, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, she worked as Lecturer for three and half years at Department of Pharmacy, SGSITS, Indore. She was awarded Second Prize with Certificate of Appreciation for Research Contribution in the years 2022 and 2023 among Associate Professors in the Faculty of Technology from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore on 26th January 2024. She was also awarded Certificate of Appreciation in 2017 for getting highest citations of research publications during 2012-2016 among University Readers. She also received Special Appreciation Award for Poster Presentation at International Conference on Emerging Challenges in Biotechnology, Human Health and Environment and 8th Annual Convention of Association of Biotechnology and Pharmacy in 2014. She has published several research and review papers in journals of national and international repute, presented research papers in various national and international conferences and authored five books. She has published three Indian patents and one Ph.D. is awarded under her supervision. Presently, four Ph.D. scholars are working under her supervision and many M.Pharm. research projects are also supervised by her. She is life member of various professional bodies like IPA, APTI, ISTE and Malwa Vigyan Parishad. She was member of Board of Studies in Pharmacy and member of Examination committee (Pharmacy), Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. She is actively involved in documentation of NIRF rankings and NAAC accreditation of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. Dr. Narsinghani is Member of Task Group for Woman Empowerment of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. She has delivered expert lectures and chaired sessions in various conferences and seminars. Her thrust areas for research include Synthesis, Computer-aided Drug Design of anti-inflammatory and anti-malarial compounds, Method development and Forced Degradation studies.
