I Dr.m.navaneetha is a PhD holder in the field of Nursing.I specialize in Community health nursing a very important field.5 scholars have completed phD under my guidance and 5 more are pursuing now.My areas of interest are Maternal and child health, ,Alcohol and drug abuse,Social issues in the community,Oldage, Diabetes mellitus,hypertension, infectious diseases,etc. I have around 50 publications in reputed journals. i have carried out independant research projects. I have the experience of coordinating the internal review board of the college of nursing and also member of scientific committee which is to look into the ethical aspects of the research projects carried out by B.Sc, PB.B.Sc,M.Sc and PhD students and scholars of the college.I have worked in various capacities at different nursing colleges including the post of vice principal. I have attended many conferences and workshops. I had the honour of being organizing secretary for a conference and a workshop. I have initiated research environment in the department of community health by publishing the school, nutrition projects done in the department.
